Our Video Production Process


Our production process combines creativity with expert craftsmanship.

No matter the size or scope, we follow the same procedure for each project we take on:



  • 1. Briefing

    Tell us what you need. We’ll discuss your objectives, target audience and key messages. We’ll also establish a budget and proposed timeline. This step guides the creative development and planning stages, creating a blueprint for the entire project.

  • 2. Concepts and Treatment

    Working to brief, we’ll develop creative concepts and treatment options to bring your messages to life. At this stage, we’ll also provide an itemised budget for full cost visibility and update the timeline with set milestones. 

  • 3. Pre-Production

    Once you’re happy with everything we’ve provided, we’ll kick start pre-production. Script and location will be finalised, crew and equipment assigned, and any required on-camera talent will be cast. 

  • 4. Production Shooting

    Our professional crew will set up on-site ready for action. In the pre-production stage, we’ll have carefully planned the filming day (or days) to ensure all footage is shot without disruption. Our experienced producer will be present to ensure everything runs to plan.

  • 5. Post-Production Editing

    This is where things really start to take shape. The footage is pulled together, and any music, narration, draft graphics, animation or special effects will be added. We’ll then provide a first cut for you to review.

  • 6. Mastering

    When the rough cut is signed off, we’ll work on the master version. This is where we focus on the finer technical details, like colour correction, image grading and audio levels. We’ll also insert the finalised versions of any graphics, animations or effects. 

  • 7. Delivery and Distribution

    On final approval, we’ll deliver the finished, high quality digital version in whichever format you require (MP4, Apple ProRes, MOV etc.). We’re also happy to provide hard copies should you want them.
